Originally licensed in '83, when stationed at Moody AFB Valdosta GA. Always more interested in the tech side of things. Worked avionics in the AF (active, reserve, nat'l guard) F-4's, F-16's, A-7's and C-141's. Also did munitions (chaff/flares) on that last. Worked avionics bench at Airborne, moved to computer side of the house. Stayed there till the DHL iceberg hit and went to R&L Carriers. Voice and data there, went all over the country installing Cisco phone systems and supporting our networks onsite and from my desk in WIL. Now retired, still puttering with electrons. Current project(s), restoring Hallicrafters radios, got an S38b, S38c and S38e. Also have the precursor to those, an Ecophone EC-1a, restored and working
