I know several of the clubs members participated in the 13 Colonies Special Event the July 4th week. The hams I know who made contacts of all 13 stations are: W8SBL (Steve), KB8UAW (Dave 4 using QRP) and also getting all 13 plus a bonus station KS8P (Sara). Mark Atwell, From Clinton memorial hospital donated laptops to the Clinton County Amateur radio Association, The Laurel Volunteer Examination Team, And the Highland Amateur radio Association at the regular monthly meeting of the Clinton County Amateur radio Association. These will be used for various amateur radio activities in communications exercises and emergency preparedness training. The Volunteer Examiner Team leaders laptop will be used in administering FCC examinations which are free to the public.
